Opportunities to Serve
A healthy church is full of healthy people who serve with a focused enthusiasm that comes from a passion to see people´s lives changed through ministry. You too can be part of the team at First Christian. We encourage people to work through their spiritual gifts.
We believe each and every person who receives Jesus as Lord and Savior has received at least one gift from God to put into practice in their life to build-up the church community. These gifts according to scripture are spiritual gifts. Paul in 1st Corinthians 12 offers some wonderful insight into these gifts.. We encourage one another to discover what our gifts are and then work through them.
At least a couple times a year we offer the "Network Seminar" a seminar designed to assist each and every person to not only discover what their spiritual gift is but how it can be put into practice in the ministry here at First Christian. We need one another to build the community Christ gave his life for. No one is dispensable. We all have something to offer as we stand on level ground before the cross.
